Rotary group study exchange programme

Dimapur: The Rotary Club of Dimapur is seeking applications from young professionals to visit Minnesota (USA) probably in the month of April 2006, as part of the Group Study Exchange Programme of the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

Through the program, teams of young professionals from two different countries will exchange visits. For a period of four to six weeks, team members will experience the way of life, customs and vocational practices of another country, while sharing information about their homeland. The purpose of the Group Study Exchange Program is to promote International understanding and goodwill through personal connection. While abroad, team members will stay in Rotarian homes and have the opportunity to meet their professional counterparts. They will also give presentations to Rotary clubs and other groups about their home country.

The Rotary Foundation will pay for the round trip airfare and Rotary club members in the host countries will provide meals, lodging and group travels in their district. Team members will have to pay for their personal and incidental expenses. Young adults between the age of 25 and 40 who are interested in applying should be employed full-time in a business or profession. Applicants must live or be employed in Dimapur district.

The President of Rotary Club has therefore, requested the interested parties to submit their application on plain paper to Rtn. Pradip Kumar Jain, President, C/o. Arihant Marketing, G.S.Road, Dimapur (ph. No-227778) between 10 am to 4 pm (except on Sundays). The last date for submitting the application form is September 30, 2005. applicants are requested to furnish their curriculum and other informations. club level selection will be done in case of more candidates. Selected candidates will be sent for District level selection.
