Members of Royal Club Kohima during 36th Raising Day on November 1.

Kohima, November 3 (MExN): The Royal Club Kohima (RCK) observed its 36th Raising Day on November 1 at Riiliezou, Kohima with K. Puroh, Ex Chairman, Nagaland Public Service Commission as the main speaker. Addressing the Clubs members, Puroh dwelled on the genesis of the Club history vis-a-vis the legacy of the Club activities including conducting the prestigious Royal Gold Cup, an AIFF affiliated tournament, when the situation was not conducive and also tumultuous.
He implored upon the younger Club members to explore avenues where the Club can once again excel and regain the pristine image.
Also exhorting the gathering, K. Sono Mepfhuo, Rtd Chief Architect Planning and Development, PWD and Vituohu Rame, senior most club member called upon the members to revive the Club by equally contributing and embarking upon the yeoman service again living to its motto of "Service to all".
The day was also marked by singing session concluding with a special number by Dr. Nicky Kire, Ex- Minister, Nagaland. Earlier, the programme was chaired by Kepelhutuo Nakhro, vice president, invocation and welcome address by Kesao Kesiezie, vice president, benediction by Thejao Vihienuo, advisor while vote of thanks was proposed by Atsuu, Property Secretary.
