KOHIMA, JANUARY 29 (MExN): The Razeba Range Baptist Church Youth Department (RRBCYD) comprising of four villages namely Zhavame, Zelome, Tsiipfume and Razeba held a three day spiritual awakening programme with the theme ‘The Born Identity’ from January 27 to 29 at Razeba Town Baptist Church. 

The speakers for the programme were Rev Akha Shupao, Pastor, Zhavame BC; Dr Samuel Venuh, Vice-Principal, Immanuel Theology & Seminary, Chumoukedima; and Nangba Konyak, Director, Miracle Healing Prayer Ministry, Dimapur.

The resource persons for the spiritual awakening programme were Dr Viposa Kiso, Director of Gethemgo International Sports Ministry, and Rakodu Nukhu, Youth Director, CBCMH Kohima.

Vedüvo Medeo, Youth Board Chairman, SBCC, in his greeting message encouraged the youths to uphold Christian values in the upcoming general election and cooperate with the Chakhesang Clean election movement initiated by CBCC. 

Dr Samuel Venuh called upon the youths to find their Identity “which is a gift from God.” He encouraged the youths to give their best and make a breakthrough through “Christ the savior.” 

 Nangba Konyak in the closing service exhorted the delegates to live out their life's purpose, and walk away from corrupted lifestyles. He challenged the RRBCYD through his life testimony and encouraged them to serve God in their youth. 

A total of 280 delegates consisting of youth and church leaders registered for the Spiritual Awakening Programme.
