Rs 4318.98 crore NH-202 widening plan submitted to Centre: TR Zeliang

Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister, TR Zeliang today said that in accordance to the Approved Sanction Ceiling and Annual Plan for NH(O) works for the Financial Year 2024-25 vide letter No: NH-15017/24/2024-P&M dated 28.06.2024, the department has submitted an estimate for widening of the existing single lane to a two-lane road with a paved shoulder from Km 39.00 to Km 283.00 on NH-202 (old NH-155) in the State of Nagaland under the EPC mode amounting to Rs 4318.98 crore (including preconstruction activities) to the Chief Engineer, North East Zone, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRT&H) vide letter No. CE/NH/AP/2024-25/620 dated 28.01.2025.

Zeliang told the Floor of the House while replying to MLA Y Lima Onen Chang regarding the status of National Highways (NH-202), 39 Km. 177-190 Km here on March 6.

On being asked the reason that is causing the department in getting the work approved or sanctioned, the Deputy Chief Minister said that further direction from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRT&H) is awaited.
