RSUD outgoing team and new team with community leaders after the programme on September 16.
Dimapur, September 18 (MExN): The Rongmei Students’ Union Dimapur held its Annual Session on September 16 at Zeliangrong Ramh Colony (Tangnajeilong) Dimapur under the theme ‘Embracing Success and Failure.’
According to a press release received here on Sunday, Gaithuingam Kamei, Branch Manager, United India Insurance Company Limited was the speaker for the event.
As part of the programme, the Union felicitated students who had passed the NBSE and CBSE Exams for classes 10 and 12. Chunzanglu Gonmei, a Gold Medalist in Zoology Subject in B Sc Exam 2022 held under Nagaland University was also felicitated along with 47 other students.
Various members of the Rongmei community from various fields of work and life addressed the session while Kambui Dangmei, Senior Member, RSUD took the time to acknowledge the outgoing team, it said.
This was followed by the reading of the Nomination Committee Report by Raajellung Gonmei, Convenor, Nomination Committee and declaration of new team for the 2022-2025 and the administration of oath by the Committee.
The release informed that the new team will be led by President Gaichamlung Gonmei with Vice President Kevin Gonmei; General Secretary Jinthuilung Phaomei; Asst GS Sumgailu Malangmei; Secretaries Peter Kamei (Finance), Kakhoigaimei Dangmei (Social & Cultural), Gaithuanlung Kamei (Edu & Statistics), Lanrilung Gonmei (Info & Publicity), and Dhangmeijei Rongmei (Games & Sports); Speaker U/A Lankhonlu Gonmei; Dy Speaker U/A Gaijenlung Kamei; and Assembly Secretary Suriakthailu Longmei.
Pastor Dinggailung Panmei of Zeliangrong Baptist Church Dimapur pronounced a prayer of blessing for the new RSUD team, the release stated.
