RUSA brings computer education to ZPC

With the inauguration of the certificate course in computer education by Dr Moa Longchar, Principal Zisaji Presidency College and co-ordinator, Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyann (RUSA), students will get a three month computer education along with formal education in Zisaji Presidency College.  

Speaking at the launching programme, Dr Moa Longchar said, “in ancient days education was very expensive where only the children of kings were able to effort it.  However, with the invention of paper, common people were also able to get education, which we are getting today.”  

He also added that before the coming of printing and IT revolution education, life was hard and education was not easy but today with the coming of technology life has become easy. “We are fortunate that we could access to computer and make the best use which makes life comfortable.”  

The Principal also advised the students to make the best use of the opportunity provided under Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyann.  

Master trainer from district computer centre who will be the facilitator for the computer course also spoke on the occasion.  

While chairing the programme, Dr Ketou member RUSA said, the total strength of the student intake is 50. However, only 15 students will be given chance in the first phase.  

This certificate course in computer education is a part of the vocational course under RUSA which is funded ministry of Human Resource Development Department of Higher Education.
