Sakhabama Baptist Church celebrates 75 years

Sakhabama village, a recognised village of the Southern Angami along with its premier and singular church under the banner, Sakhabama Baptist Church observed its 75 years of existence at the village on December 28. 

Angami Baptist Church Council (ABCC), Executive Chairman, Rev Rachülie Vihienuo speaking at the function said, 75 years is a ripened age and with that age, it is for the believers to be ripened in not just our church mission but in our Christian faith, worship and service. 

The speaker said the reminder is not just for one church, but for all the churches under the Angami Baptist Church Council, for the council while marching ahead with the church. 

Dr Vihienuo expounded that the people should have faith in the faithfulness and love of God. 

He spoke about what faith God has on us to live and exalt in his image and called us to reflect in the ways we have faltered in our spiritual living. 

President, ABCC, Rev Savito Naki and Japfüphiki Baptist Church Council, president Saphrül Pucho delivered greetings. The programme was chaired by Sakhabama Baptist Church, pastor, Pukrosül Kiso and songs were presented by Jubilee Choir. 

On December 29, Dr Ruokuovilie Sachü, Pastor, Khedi Baptist Church and greetings were delivered by Maga Kezo. Programme was chaired by Pelesato Chüzho, Associate Pastor, Sakhabama Baptist Church and Church President Pukrosa Kiso gave the vote of thanks.
