Chümoukedima, November 13 (MExN): The Nepali Gospel Singing Competition Voice Hunt Season-VI organised by Nepali Baptist Church Chümoukedima (NBCC) Town Youth Department was held with eight finalists performing at the competition on November 12.
The competition was won by Sanjana Basel of Nepali Baptist Church Kohima, followed by Sanju Thapa of Duncan Town Nepali Baptist Church and Prem Chetri of Gorkha Baptist Church Diphupar in the second and third runner-up respectively, stated a press release issued by Manoj Ruchal, Convenor, Organising Committee of the Voice Hunt.
The programme was graced by C Teeya Imsong, Managing Director, Mount Mary Hr Sec School and College Chümoukedima Town while special performances were presented by Dipak Sunar, 1st Runner up of Voice Hunt Season-I.
The Voice Hunt, under the theme ‘Praise His name’ was launched in 2017 with a focus to inspire, enrich, and motivate the Christian Gorkha youths under Association of the Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland both spiritually and musically, the release added.
