TUENSANG, AUGUST 28 (MExN): Sao Chang College Tuensang in collaboration with Impact Hub Institute organized two day workshop on career guidance for competitive exams on August 24 and 26.
The first day’s program commenced with a welcome address by Longtichang Tsudir, Vice Principal SCC. Anungla, proprietress of Impact Hub Institute shared on the realization, prospect and opportunities of good and budget friendly coaching in the region as competition increase and growing number of students search for the quality institutes in and outside the state.
Akumtoshi Aier, mentor of the institute discussed on various career options and competitive exams and the required skills and abilities which are needed to clear such exams. He also emphasized on the importance of informed career choice and decision that should be based on one’s aptitude and passion, which will offer satisfaction in one’s chosen career.
On the second day, Vedovolu Nienu, Asst Prof, Dept of English, SCC highlighted on the importance of reading and good grammar to develop effective writing for any competitive exam, which can help them to realize their goals./
This was followed by practical sessions and discussion hour with the participants. The session ended with vote of thanks by Dr Shokip Tumtin, Coordinator, Career Guidance Committee, SCC and Asst Prof, Dept of Chemistry. The 2 day Programme was chaired by Vidila Jing, Asst Prof, Dept of Zoology and Hotoni Yeptho, Asst Prof, Dept of Sociology respectively.
