Col Vikee Lamoria Commandant 41 Assam Rifles handing over sports materials to Principal Saramati Mountain School, Pungro.
Pungro, May 9 (MExN): Saramati Mountain School, Pungro town annual sports meet 2024 was kicked off by Col Vikee Lamoria, Commandant 41 Assam Rifles as special guest on May 8. The inaugural function was attended by School Management Board, AIPSA (All India Private School Association, New Delhi) members, parents and alumni in attendance.
Touching upon the role played by Saramati Mountain School in providing quality education to the people of Pungro Town under Kiphire District since 1990, the Company Commander, Pungro said “people of Pungro Town has tremendously benefited.” Urging the students to have dreams and visions in life, he said, “first and foremost for any student, it is to decide what one wants to become in life and when you have decided, you should start working on it.”
Saramati Mountain School Principle, Akumla delivered the welcome address. Annual sports meet kicked off with choreography performance by students of class 1, 2 Nursery, drill displayed by students by all class followed by March Past led by house captains.
The programme was chaired by lsamrang, Administrator Northeast AIPSA and invocation by Tsukila, Vice Principle, Pungo town, Saramati Mountain School while vote of thanks was proposed by the School Sports Committee, Saramati Mountain School.
