Satakha, August 5 (MExN): Satakha Town Baptist Church (STBC) Music Department organized two-day music workshop Vivikali K Yeptho (Bachelor of Music,Piano Major and conducting honours) as the resource person on August 3 and 4. The choir members of STBC attended the workshop.
During the workshop Vivikali spoke on importance of music, choir etiquettes, importance of vocal warm-ups and fundamentals of music. A press release stated here that she narrated how Jesus during the last supper with his 12 disciples sang songs and “if they want to live a life as commanded by Jesus, singing songs should be given utmost importance.”
She added that they were all Christians and that bible commands every Christian to sing songs not just the one with good voice.
Earlier, the workshop began with an invocation pronounced by Rev Kughato Chishi Pastor STBC and the workshop was chaired by Abel T Asumi Music Director STBC.
