The Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakalu (SBAK) Nito Mount Revival is being held at Shena New Baptist Church from January 23 to 25 under the theme “Aghungu Lo Ghulhu,” based on 1 Kings 19:8.
The revival crusade has drawn more than 5,000 delegates from 150 churches affiliated with SBAK Nito Mount.
On January 23, Rev Dr Prof Mar Pongener, General Secretary of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC), handed over the Revival Torch to Rev Kughato K Chopi, Executive Secretary of SBAK. This marked the first such initiative of its kind, aimed at spreading the revival fire across Nagaland.
While handing over the torch, Rev Dr Prof Mar Pongener stated, “For the glory of God, let this torch go forth to the Sumi land, bringing victory and revival among the Sumi people.”
The speakers at the revival include Rev Dr Hokheto Chophy, Pastor of Thilixu Village Baptist Church; Rev Vikuto P Shohe, Secretary, Department of Children’s Ministry, SBAK; and Rev Kughato K Chopi, Executive Secretary, SBAK.
