THIZAMA, FEBRUARY 12 (MExN): The State Bank of India (SBI) conducted a financial awareness programme at the 4th NAP Battalion Headquarters, Thizama on February 12. The programme which was conducted on the initiative of the Commandant H Kuhovi Sema, focused on the SBI police salary package and financial literacy for a secure future. 

SBI resource persons, David Haokip (Chief Manager, SBI Lerie Branch) and Jevan Row Chetri (RM SBIMF), addressed police personnel on specialized banking benefits, including zero balance accounts, concessional loans, enhanced insurance, smart investment options and digital banking solutions, a press release issued by Dy Commandant & PRO, 4th NPA Batttalion, Thizama stated. 

The session, chaired by Limaonen, Dy Commandant highlighted the importance of financial planning for police personnel. Unit personnel also actively engaged in discussions on investment options, loan facilities, and retirement planning.

In closing, the chairperson thanked the SBI team for their insights and encouraged personnel to maximize these financial benefits. The programme ended on a positive note with SBI officials assuring continued support to law enforcement personnel for a secure financial future.
