Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): The Sumi Chess Association Nagaland (SCAN) is set to organise its 11th All Sumi Open Chess championship 2024 from October 10-12 at Tourist Lodge Dimapur.
A press release from the association stated that as such, all chess enthusiasts from the Sumi community were encouraged to participate in the tournament. Those interested persons would be required to pay an entry fee amounting to Rs 1000/- for open category and under-18 years category & under -14 years category is Rs 500/- and free entry fee physically challenged person. The registration for the event will be closed on October 8 at 4:00 pm, the association mentioned.
