Kohima, August 10 (MExN): Gideon Leo and Viluto Sumi both played for different schools at the recently concluded 1st Inter School High School Football tournament 2017 and won accolades for their respective schools, displaying high sports men spirit in the beautiful game of football. Evidently fans of both players from their schools were shouting and screaming for two upcoming Naga football talents. Donning jersey 99 Gideon Leo was the school football captain for Ministers Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School, Kohima while Viluto Sumi, captain for his school Mt Sinai Higher Secondary School, Kohima, donned jersey 9. Both played as strikers and even notched some one of the best goals of the tournament. Incidentally both the schools got knocked out in the semi-finals. However, Gideon and Viluto are back on the playing field and this time, two of them are set to be teammates as they take part in the ongoing Kohima Football Legaue being organized by the Kohima Town Club (KTC). The two will be donning the jerseys of one of the oldest football clubs in the state capital – New Market XI.
