Pfutsero, January 5 (MExN): The 28th wrestling meet of Secheku Wrestling Association (SWA) is to be held at Thetsumi Village on January 7, with KG Kenye, MP Rajya Sabha, Government of India as Special Guest and Musonyi Domeh Vice President, All India Traditional Wrestling and Pankration Federation (AITWPF) as the guest of honour.
SWA President Kuhusheyi D Vadeo in a press release informed that the daylong meet will feature both senior and under-16 years wrestling competition.
The champion in the senior category will win Rs 80,000 while second, third and fourth position holders will win Rs 60,000, Rs 40,000 and Rs 30,000 respectively. The under years category winners will be awarded Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000, Rs 7000 and Rs 5000 respectively.
The reigning champion Venuzo Vadeo will be the torch bearer of the meet.
Meanwhile, a business hour will be held on January 6 from 5:00 PM where it is mandatory for all the unit presidents to attend the same and submit house budget without fail.
The host, Thetsumi village will provide accommodation, firewood, vegetables etc to the unit.
