Dimapur, December 29 (MExN): Assam Rifles organised a security coordination meeting in Sheanghah Chingnyu, Mon district on December 28. Village authorities from Sheanghah Chingnyu, S Mokok, S Wamsa, S Tangten, Lokyo and Nyahnyu attended the meeting, stated a press release received here.
“The main agenda of the meeting was to review the prevailing security situation in the villages and develop cordial relations between Assam Rifles and Public. The locals assured their support to the security forces in maintaining peace, harmony and pledged to curb any illegal activities,” the release added.
