Dimapur, July 29 (MExN): Based on “specific input,” Security Forces in a joint operation with State police apprehended one individual with illegal liquor worth Rs 4 lakh at Full Nagarjan, Dimapur on July 26.
The PRO, HQ IGAR (N) in a press release stated that the apprehended individual along with the recovered liquor has been handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation.
On July 27, the Security Forces apprehended two drug peddlers and recovered 149 bottles of cough syrup and 2149 SPM capsule worth Rs 42,350, two live rounds of 7.62 & 9mm, one FCC of 9mm and one bike at Zeizou village, Kohima district.
The apprehended individuals and recovered items have been handed over to Zeizou Police Station, Kohima district for further investigation, PRO, HQ IGAR (N) stated in a press release.
Security Forces in a joint operation with State Police apprehended four cadres of Nikki Sumi group and recovered one 9mm pistol with nine live rounds, 64 extortion slips, three mobile phone and Rs 7500/- in cash at Pfutsero, Phek district on July 28.
PRO, HQ IGAR (N) stated that the apprehended individuals along with recovered items have been handed over to Pfutsero Police Station for further investigation.
