Dimapur, September 2 (MExN): Security forces seized IMFL in general area 4th Mile, Dimapur on September 2.
A press statement from the HQ IGAR (N) said that based on specific intelligence regarding illegal activities in general area 4th Mile, Dimapur, security forces along with Police representatives launched an operation and apprehended one Atoka Sumi (24).
12 cases and 5 bottles of Rum and Whisky, 3 cases and four cans of beer amounting approximately Rs 1, 05,000 in addition to Rs 48,290 in cash were recovered.
The apprehended individual along with recovered items was handed over to Diphupar police station for further investigation, the report added.
Meanwhile, in a separate release, the HQ IGAR (N) also informed that another individual was apprehended in Burma Camp on Tuesday.
The arrested person was identified as Bhawani Singh (28).
Recoveries included 12 cases of Rum and Whisky, 10 cases of canned beer amounting to approximately Rs 1,15,800, in addition to two mobile phones and Rs 2.7 lakh in cash.
The apprehended individual along with recovered items was handed over to East police station, Dimapur for further investigation.
