Kohima, December 20 (MExN): The Seiyhama Village Students Union (SVSU) conducted its annual conference at the Community Hall, Seiyhama village in Kohima district on December 20.
Ruokuosietuo Rocus, District Soil Conservation Officer, Mokokchung was the speaker for the conference. Education is not only bookish knowledge but all round development of a person, he said. In this, he advised the students to acquire life skills and also preserve the environment.
Earlier, Kevineizo Zumu, president SVSU delivered welcome address while secretary report was presented by Thejaneizo Thevo. Special number was presented by K Ketouzo Sopfünuo and Thejanguzo Thevo. The programme was chaired by Khriezenuo Metha, Asst. General Secretary SVSU while vote of thanks was proposed by Vituohu Sopfünuo, Vice President SVSU.
A new team of SVSU will be led by Setuolie Theűnuo for the tenure 2022-2025.
