Longleng, November 12 (MExN): As per the provision U/S 451 Cr. PC, destruction of liquor seized in connection with various Longleng PS cases was carried out in full public view on November 12 at NST junction, main town, Longleng in the presence of Abraham, Assistant Public Prosecutor, Longleng, Yanger Jamir, Additional SP, Longleng, EAC Probationers Renbithung Jami and Sukhalu Chishi, OC, Longleng PS, Court PI and with representatives from various NGOs.
A press note stated that a short programme was held before the destruction, chaired by Assistnat PP, Longleng and short speech were delivered by A. Shamthai, President Phomla Hoichem, H. Tenchem, Vice President, Phom People’s Council and Yanger Jamir, Addl SP, Longleng.
