Kohima, October 31 (MExN): The seven-member NLA Select Committee, tasked with examining the Nagaland Municipal Bill of 2023, will convene on November 2 at 11 AM in the Rhododendron Hall, Police Complex, Chümoukedima. The Deputy Chief Minister and Committee Convenor, TR Zelaing has requested all members to ensure their attendance at the meeting, stated in an official release from the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Secretariat. It must be noted here on September 14, the NLA Speaker announced the formation of the committee to scrutinise the Bill, which was introduced just two days prior in the Assembly. In addition to Zeliang, the other committee members are Ministers KG Kenye, P Paiwang Konyak, Jacob Zhimomi, Metsubo Jamir; Advisors Mhathung Yanthan and Zhaleo Rio; and NLA Secretary-In-Charge as the Member Secretary.
