Mokokchung, October 28 (MExN): A Holistic Family Leadership Development Seminar-cum-Medical Camp was jointly organised by MH Hospital (Metro Hospital), Dimapur, Molungkimong Baptist Church (MBC), and Northeast Alliance for Leadership Education and Social Transformation (NEALEAST), Mokokchung from October 27-28 at MBC, the first Baptist church in Nagaland.
The seminar was attended by 53 couples under 50 years of age, stated a press release. Dr. K. Hesso along with a team of nurses conducted the medical camp for two days for the members of the village, while Dr. Takatemjen, founder-President, NEALEAST and a team of resource persons conducted the family seminar.
The programme, according to the press release, was organised in view of the upcoming celebration of the 150th year of the coming of Christianity to Molungkimong in 2022. The release mentioned that the first Baptism in the Naga soil marked the establishment of the first church in Nagaland at Molungkimong on December 22, 1872.
