Pughoboto, January 21 (MExN): One day seminar on waste management was conducted at Kitami with two social workers Kahuli and Victo on January 19. A DIPR report stated that both the resource persons dwelled on the different types of the waste and their disposal. A practical lesson on how to convert biodegradable waste like kitchen garbage into useful products like manure was also demonstrated to the public. Vitoshe from Kushe Humanity Foundation gave a brief introduction of the foundation and its activities. Viniho Achumi GB Kitami spoke on behalf of the Village.
During the programme, mentioned that Kitami village won the cleanest village award, Pughoboto for the year 2018.The award carries a certificate with cash citation of 5 Lakhs funded by LADF Pughoboto and from this award, a waste management project will be carried out in the village. The programme was chaired by EAC Pughoboto Nuhuta Tunyi while vote of thanks was delivered by CDPO Ghathashi Junito Jimo.
