CHÜMOUKEDIMA, MAY 4 (MExN): The Senior Men’s Inter-District One Day Tournament 2024 continued with thrilling encounters at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium and Sovima Cricket Ground.
At the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Dimapur secured a convincing victory over Kohima by 8 wickets. Player of the Match, Sanjay Shiva, made a remarkable 5-wicket haul, restricting Kohima to 98 runs. In response, Dimapur chased down the target comfortably with Joshua Ben Ozukum’s unbeaten 59 leading the charge.
Meanwhile, at the Sovima Cricket Ground, Chümoukedima triumphed over Wokha by 7 wickets. Jonathan Rongsen’s impressive knock of 64 runs guided Chümoukedima to victory, chasing down Wokha’s total of 155 runs.
With this, Dimapur and Kohima from Group A and Niuland and Chümoukedima from Group B have qualified for the semi-finals.
