Chümoukedima, May 6 (MExN): The Senior Men’s Inter-District One Day Tournament 2024 reached its climax with two gripping semifinal clashes, showcasing the competitive spirit and skill of Nagaland’s cricketing talents.

At the Nagaland Cricket Ground, Chümoukedima delivered a commanding performance against Dimapur in the first semifinal. Opting to field first after winning the toss, Chümoukedima’s bowlers displayed finesse, restricting Dimapur to a modest total of 97 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Jonathan Rongsen’s stellar unbeaten knock of 53 runs led Chümoukedima’s chase as they comfortably reached the target with 9 wickets in hand, securing a spot in the finals.

Meanwhile, at the Sovima Cricket Ground, Niuland faced off against Kohima in a high-stakes encounter.
