DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 5 (MExN): Kisheto Achumi (21), who sustained bullet injury on the head during the September 1 incident along National Highway 29 succumbed to his injury at Referral Hospital this morning. He was admitted to CIHSR in a coma with a bullet lodged inside his head.
Thousands of people from all walks of life attended his funeral held in the premises of Purana Bazaar Sumi Baptist Church wherein representatives of Purana Bazaar, Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu and Western Sumi Hoho along with relatives of the deceased.
General Secretary, Western Sumi Hoho, Kuhovi Zhimo, on behalf of the hoho conveyed condolence to bereaved family members.
The East Dimapur Business Association has expressed great shock and sadness over the untimely death of its fellow member Kisheto Achumi. Describing him as a young and a hard working businessman from Purana bazaar, the association further conveyed its condolence to the bereaved family that they would find the courage and sense of peace to overcome the tragic tragedy. “Our thoughts are with the family members at this time”, stated a condolence message issued by General Secretary East Dimapur Business Association H.Q.
