Our Correspondent Kohima | March 14 Peraciezie Royals and Victoria CC Dimapur registered wins in their respective games on the second day of the 8th Silver Cup T20 Cricket Tournament at Jakhama Local Ground. In the first match, Peraciezie Royals defeated Kingz by 85 runs. Favoured in toss, Peraciezie elected to bat and set a target of 146 runs in 20 overs losing 7 wickets. Ejanthung scored highest with 28 runs while Renchathung chipped in with 22. Sandeep and Senti took two wickets each for Kingz. Chasing the target, Kingz were bundled out in 14.4 overs for a paltry 61 runs. Alo and Saroj grabbed two wickets each while Renchathung with 3 wickets and 22 runs was adjudged man of the match. In the second match, Indomitable 15 chose to field after winning the toss against Victoria CC Dimapur. Taking advantage of some poor bowling and loose fielding, Victoria CC posted a massive 171 runs losing 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Kamrul with 35 runs was the highest run-getter while Mughavi followed with 32 runs. Pradip and SK Pal claimed two rival wickets each. Chasing the target, Indomitable managed to score 111 runs losing 9 wickets. Jibendu Das top-scored with 29 runs. Michael of Victoria CC Dimapur was declared man of the match for his 3 wickets and 24 runs with the bat.
