Tokaholi Chishi
Dimapur, May 30 (MExN): Soulful songwriter and singer, Tokaholi Chishi will be releasing ‘Simple Summer Songs’ an EP that consists of Four songs on June 1. It is a collection that talks about the simplicity of changing seasons intertwined with the nature of God’s constant faithfulness.
In a brief about the upcoming EP, Tokaholi shared that its inspiration began with the first song “June Morning” that talks about dreaming and how God himself plants dreams in our heads like how he did with Joseph in the Bible. “That we are never too old or young to dream and be creative,” she added.
It features songs with artist such as Temsu Clover in the track “Better than Strawberries” and also features musical maestros “Nise Meruno and Nourhe Khate” in the closing song titled “Quietude”.
“These are songs I wrote to fill ordinary days with something to enjoy and days that are rushed to create a moment of stillness and every song has been inspired by the season of Summer,” the artist added.
It will be available on all streaming platforms from June 1 onwards.
