Single admissions portal for Govt HSS from June 10

Nagaland DoSE issues directives 
 

Dimapur, June 5 (MExN): The Directorate of School Education, Nagaland on June 4 notified that new admissions for class XI in all the Government Higher Secondary Schools (GHSSs) functioning in Nagaland will commence from June 10.


In this regard, the directorate issued directives for strict compliance.


There will be a single Online Admission Portal for all the GHSSs.


It directed students/parents to login into the ‘GHSS Admission Portal’ through the link given at the department’s website:  https://education.nagaland.gov.in and submit applications for schools and streams of their choice.


One student can submit application for any number of schools and streams of their choice.  But, separate applications are to be submitted for different schools and different streams.


The portal will be kept open from June 10 to 16 for students/parents to submit applications.


Students will have to upload copies of HSLC Admit Card and Mark Sheet.   


Those facing difficulties while using the online facility may download Admission Form from the portal and submit the duly filled in forms to the respective schools on or before June 16.  


Selection of candidates will be done by the respective schools as per their intake capacity, in order of merit. 


School wise List of Selected Candidates along with Waiting List will be published at the ‘GHSS Admission Portal’ on June 22.


Details of Admission Fee to be paid and particulars of bank accounts of respective schools will also be made available at the portal. 


Selected students will be given the option of making online payment to the respective school bank accounts or directly (for those facing difficulties for making online payment) at schools from June 22 to 27.


Students making online payments will have to forward proof of payment such as receipts, screenshot of payment confirmation etc to the WhatsApp number/email ID of respective schools provided at the portal.


Class XI repeaters need not submit applications, the DoSE directive said, adding that repeaters will make payment of admission fee as per the procedure given above on or before June 16.


Further details will be made available through the admission portal, it added.
