Dimapur, July 22 (MExN): The St Joseph University (SJU), Department of English conducted a virtual webinar on “Rethinking Education in The New Normal” on July 21 with Dr Sumi Daa-Dhora, an editor and faculty at IIHMR University, Rajasthan as the resource person.
In her presentation, Dr Sumi highlighted the visual impacts of the global pandemic and pointed out the effects of social media, particularly on mental health, a SJU release informed. Virtual teaching and learning process were also focus of her presentation.
Dr. Sumi also encouraged the students to have a positive outlook and be more patience in dealing with the ‘new normal’ which has affected almost every aspect of life, especially in terms of education. The webinar was moderated by Chiweivi of MA 2nd semester.
