As part of the Skilling Nagaland program, the Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), Government of Nagaland, has been conducting a series of Basic Professional Audio Management Workshops across all districts of Nagaland. These workshops aim to equip stakeholders with essential skills in the music and arts sector.

The workshops focus on both theory and practical application, providing a strong foundation in live sound management. So far, five districts—Tseminyu, Niuland, Chümoukedima, Noklak, and Shamator—have been covered, with a total of 175 enthusiastic trainees participating.

In February, three more districts—Phek, Kiphire, and Meluri—will be included, with the remaining eight districts scheduled for upcoming months, according to TaFMA.

The workshop in Kiphire will take place from February 20 to 22, followed by Phek from February 24 to 26, and in Meluri from February 27 to March 1.

Through Skilling Nagaland, TaFMA remains committed to strengthening the state's creative ecosystem by empowering stakeholders with the professional technical skills essential for the music and arts industry.
