Zunheboto, May 15 (MExN): The All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) has urged all the government servants in Sumi jurisdiction to be sincere in their respective duties. “As government servants one should be honest and truthful in performing their responsibilities for whatever they have been assigned for serving the people,” stated a press release from the apex students’ body of the Sumis. It also informed every teacher to be “truly sincere and dedicated” in their duties. Teaching being a noble profession, one should regard it as a mission towards moulding the future generations, the statement from SKK president, Atokho Sumi and general secretary, Hutoshe Kits said. The students’ body also appealed to all concerned citizens of Sumi areas to be vigilant and cooperative in the ongoing road repairs and other such developmental works in their respective areas and villages. The SKK further asked the contractors involved to be “honest and reliable” in their works.
