Slim Fit FC celebrates their win with the trophy of the Junkyard Senior Cup Season 2 held in Dimapur on November 15.
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 15 (MExN): The Junkyard Senior Cup Season 2, organised by Nagaland Spotlight Connect, concluded on November 15 with Slim Fit FC lifting the league title after a consistent campaign that saw them finish with 22 points.
Belly Burners FC ended the season level on points but settled for the runners-up position on goal difference.
The league also celebrated standout individual performances. Along of Frenzy Shooters was named Player of the League, registering an impressive 20 goal contributions for his side. The Top Scorer Award went to Sunep of Belly Burners FC, who finished with 15 goals and 9 assists, while Hobeka of Slim Fit FC claimed the Golden Glove, keeping four clean sheets.
Almost Young FC was recognised with the Most Disciplined Team Award.
Nagaland Spotlight Connect informed that Season 3 will commence next year, with expectations already building among teams and fans alike.
