Dimapur, May 27 (MExN): With regard of the returnees from other part of the country, the Sümi Aphuyemi Hoho (SAH) made an appeal “not to refuse to receive them but with the consultation of the district administration and COVID-19 officials, we should receive them and proper care should be given to them.”
The Hoho in a press release issued by its information and publicity secretary, KLA Jacob appealed to the Village Council, Churches and different organisations in the Aphuyemi area and Aphuyemi based organisations of different parts of the states, to extend helping hand to the district administration whenever the need arise with strict protocol laid by the administration.
“This is time to exhibit the true Christian faith, if we could not extent helping hand during the time of crisis and suffering of brothers and sisters then our preaching is no better than empty vessel,” it stated.
Meanwhile, the Hoho has appealed the people not to panic as the COVID-19 positive has detected in Nagaland. “It is very unfortunate that the disease has reached and is with us but as the same time we should not panic but we should support the administration in whatever ways we can in order to contain the further spread of the disease.”
It also appealed to follow the protocol set up by the health expert.
