Dimapur, November 26 (MExN): Survival Nagaland (SN) has termed the clarification issued by the NSCN (IM) on the arrest of non-Naga cadres as a “mockery to ground reality”.
SN in a statement through its Media Cell stating that it was compelled to issue the rejoinder and called it “unfortunate” that the NSCN (IM) was blaming them of not verifying the persons.
While welcoming the statement of the NSCN (IM) disowning the arrested cadres, SN questioned, “If the media report of November 21 was untrue, was there immediate inquiry made to Dimapur police by the NSCN-IM authority?”
“However, the arrest of non-Naga cadres with arms is nothing new to Nagas anymore,” SN stated and called on the NSCN (IM) to provide evidence of necessary action initiated against the disowned cadre. “The entire Naga indigenous populace deserves to know what necessary action the NSCN-IM would initiate against them,” it maintained.
