Zunheboto, November 24 (MExN): The coordination meeting of Director, senior officers of Social Welfare Department with their officers, staffs and anganwadi workers of Zunheboto district was conducted at Zunheboto town hall on November 22 and 23.

The Social Welfare Department, Director, Toshili Zhimomi in her speech encouraged the staffs to work sincerely for the welfare of the public and to be regular in the office, a DIPR report stated. She advised the staffs to always approach the directorate if any help is needed for the upliftment of the department. The Director also had an extensive and elaborate discussion with the officers and AWWs and during the discussion the participants were randomly picked by the Director and were asked questions regarding their functioning, it stated.

The Assistant Director Asangla and Deputy Director Imkongzenla also participated in discussions in certain areas dealing with supplementary nutrition. 

Earlier the programme was led by Mary V Chishi, Poshan Coordinator Zunheboto district, welcome address was delivered by DWO, Y Touhong Ngomjen, introduction and presentation by R Chirhotshu  Nyusou, CDPO Ghathashi, overview of ICDS programme by Bonathung Ngullie, DPO Zunheboto and vote of thanks by Nikuto Chishi, CDPO Akuluto.

On the second day, induction training for untrained Anganwadi worker's from 8 projects under Zunheboto district was held. Welcome address was delivered by DWO Y Touhong Ngomjen and officers from different projects were the resource persons during the training day. Altogether 158 Anganwadi worker attended the training.
