Kohima, April 19 (MExN): The officers of Department of Soil & Water Conservation, Nagaland has launched a new association called ‘Association of Soil & Water Conservation Officer (ASWO), Nagaland.’ It was launched on April 19 at the Soil & Water Conservation Directorate’s conference hall. MM Solo, Director, Soil & Water Conservation thanked the officers who had come up with the idea of forming the association. He challenged the association to revive the departmental ego and influence other allied associations under one banner for the welfare of the society. “A good association should be a helping hand and supportive to the department’s broad vision, which is possible only when the members are willing to contribute their ideas and participate actively,” he maintained.
