The Doyang Liphanyan Bridge, the longest bridge in Nagaland, received a major enhancement through the installation of solar street lights on January 15.

The initiative, led by Dr Yanbemo Ovung, Senior Pastor at Dimapur Lotha Baptist Church, aims to beautify the bridge and improve its functionality.

A short formal dedication service was held at the bridge, where the installation of ten solar street lights and poles was completed. Dr Ovung, along with the Stone Crushers Union, Liphanyan, jointly contributed to the project. The new lights have transformed the bridge, giving it an elegant and modern appearance.

The dedication ceremony was attended by members of the Ralan Area Lotha Hoho (RALH), Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFRCC), village councils from Liphanyan and neighboring communities, church pastors, and local residents.
