Solo/Chiu village under Lahe Township gets relief materials

(Left) The temporary thatch houses have been completed in Solo/Chiu village under Lahe Township in Naga Self Administered Zone (NSAZ) Myanmar, which was razed down by a fire on February 2. “The unity and humanity among the communities is apparent during such times as this,” an update received here stated. It was earlier reported that 60 houses and a Morung were razed down by the fire, where 73 families including men, women and children were rendered homeless and vulnerable. (Right) Relief from Lahe Administration were taken to Solo/Chiu village on February 12. The relief materials containing 72 bags of rice, oil, noodles, salt, buckets etc were transported in four pickups.
