Solution to factional conflict is possible through the general public only. The Naga Hoho, the apex organisation of the Naga public upheld by tribal Hohos can play its role to create an avenue for the general public and the different Naga National organisations to meet and conduct the meetings. If possible tribal level meeting should be held throughout Nagaland. Each of the National organizations should be given chance to address national issue and each of them should boldly face Naga general public with its prepared statement for solution to the vexed problem. Unless the Nagas realistically face the real thing, the unwanted situation will remain stagnant. The general public is the best judge and in such public movement the question of favourism or being bias does not arise but the truth itself will emerge and prevail.
In order to create an atmosphere conducive for freedom of speech, there should be a declaration of cessation of hostility among the factions. So instead of being overcome by fear, we need boldness to declare peace, boldness to present views and boldness to speak out the reality.
“The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” (Prov.28:1).
