‘Somewhere In Time', a graphic novel by Imrongkumba Aier was released on Tuesday at the Urban Hub Café. The author is a freelance painter, digital illustrator and a comic artist from Mokokchung, Nagaland and an alumnus of the Fine Arts College, Guwahati. He is also the creator of ‘Only the Hunter’ in Tapas, a South Korean webtoon app.

The book, ‘Somewhere In Time’ is an enigmatic journey full of mystical episodes, led by destiny and guided by sheer will to take up expeditions that lead him to discover his will, love and purpose in life.

It was launched by Dr Lanurenla, HOD, Asst. Professor, Department of English, Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung.

In her address Dr Lanurenla said, “one element that remains supreme and constant is the 'creative input.' Artificial intelligence, computerised creations, machines may take over but one thing that will remain unsurpassable is the creative inputs that Artificial intelligence cannot steal and that is the beauty of human minds.”

While sharing about his inspiration, the author said, he drew inspiration to write the book from a wise word of his father, “there are plenty of talented people who works very skillfully at a competitively cheaper cost, it is for us to decide whether to step up or step down.”

Bendangrenla, Asst Prof, Department of English, FAC while delivering the publisher's note asserted that the graphic novel is the most experimental and most artistic of novel forms with myriads of possibilities.

The book was published by the Bookipedia Publication which is Bookipedia's fourth published book.
