Kohima, January 10 (MExN): The 69th Biennial General Conference of the Southern Angami Students’ Union (SASU) is set to be held from January 18-20 at Zaso Ground, Mima Village under the theme, “Metamorphosis of ideas and approach.”
Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhütso, Managing Director, KOHIMAS will be speaking at the Introductory Session (morning) on January 19; Vikhweno Chale, Deputy Secretary, Dept of Horticulture, Govt of Nagaland will be speaking during the Academic session in the evening; and Khrievi Sahu, Coordinator, Students’ Ministry, NBCC at the devotional service on January 20. It was stated in a press release issued by Organising Committee Convenor Neitho Tacü and Publicity and Information Committee Convenor Kezevi Edmund Chaya.
The release has also informed students’ union of the Southern Angami villages to compulsorily attend the conference with specified number of delegates allocated failing which a penalty of Rs. 2000 shall be imposed.
Further, the delegates have been asked to reach the venue by 12:00 pm for registration thereafter from 12:30- 2:00 pm. A registration fee of Rs. 100 on each delegate will be realized, the release said.
It has further informed units to ready one participant each for debate and extempore competition and wrestling (Men) and Arm Wrestling (Women); two items for Talent Night; standard size flag of the unit.
