Superintendent of Police Dr Kupe Kapfo has launched a traffic management initiative in Zunheboto town by installing barricades at various locations to curb unauthorized roadside parking and ensure smoother vehicular movement.
Speaking on the initiative, Dr Kapfo said the barricades have been strategically placed across the town to regulate vehicle parking and reduce congestion caused by indiscriminate roadside parking.

He said plans are also underway to introduce marked parking spaces in designated areas. The proposed markings will guide motorists to park their vehicles within allotted spaces, preventing the unnecessary occupation of road space and helping maintain a steady flow of traffic.
The initiative is expected to improve road discipline, strengthen traffic management and promote safer and more organised movement of vehicles within Zunheboto town.
