Tseminyu, April 27 (MExN): The Superintendent of Police (SP) Tseminyu, Kanchan Kandpal Kumar has issued a circular informing all concerned regarding the Arms (Amendment) Act, 2019. The 2019 Act stipulates that any person who has in possession of more than 2 firearms at the commencement of the Act may retain any two and deposit the remaining within one year from such commencement, stated a DIPR report, citing a circular.
Accordingly, the SP informed that the remaining firearm should be deposited to the officer in-charge police station, Tseminyu. The circular is brought to the notice of all concerned for strict compliance, the SP added.
