Spearhead Motorsport Initiative has announced that the sixth edition of their much-anticipated racing event, Throttle Thrust VI, will be held at Mangmetong village, Mokokchung. The event will take place on 1 & 2 November and the event will showcase exhilarating races across three competitive categories: Open, below 1300, and SUV.
Meren Tzudir, President, SMI informed that the event will unfold on a dynamic race track over two days. On Day 1, racers will test their speed and skill on a 3-kilometer tarmac track (Wet/Dry). On Day 2, they will face the challenges of a 3-kilometer gravel and dirt track (Wet/Dry). The categories and prize money will be Open Category: Rs 70,000 (1st place), Rs 40,000 (2nd place), Rs 30,000 (3rd place), Rs 10,000 (4th place), below 1300 Category: Rs 50,000 (1st place), Rs 30,000 (2nd place), Rs 20,000 (3rd place) and SUV Category: Rs 50,000 (1st place), Rs 30,000 (2nd place), Rs 20,000 (3rd place)
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Spearhead Motorsport Initiative, a special cash prize will be awarded to the team with the most participants, making this a milestone event for the local racing community. Additionally, an individual award for the fastest timing on both days will be up for grabs, celebrating the top-performing racer, the press release further informed.
