
DIMAPUR, AUGUST 7 (MExN): The Directorate of Technical Education has announced that candidates who appeared for and registered for NEET (UG) - 2023, with merit rankings ranging from 1 to 200 for the general category (Advanced Tribe), and candidates from Backward Tribes with merit rankings from 1 to 648, are invited to attend a spot counseling session. The session is scheduled to be held on August 18 at 11:00 am. The counseling will take place in the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Technical Education, located below the New Secretariat in Kohima. The counseling will be utilized to fill up the following reserved seats: MBBS (152), BDS (12), and BASLP (1). Candidates are required to bring two passport-sized photographs and original documents to the counseling venue by 10:40 am. Failure to attend the counseling on the stipulated date and time will result in the forfeiture of candidature for the aforementioned seats, a notice informed.
The Directorate also informed that all candidates who appeared for JEE (MAIN)-2023 that the spot and final round counseling for CSAB-NEUT: 2023 is scheduled for August 9. The counseling will take place at the Directorate of Technical Education, located below the Nagaland Secretariat in Kohima.
Candidates interested in participating with a valid JEE (MAIN)-2023 score are required to submit their application forms to the Directorate of TE by 12:00 noon on August 9. The counseling session will commence at 1:00 PM on the same day. Application forms will be accessible at the office starting from August 7. Alternatively, they can be downloaded from the official website dtenagaland.org.in.
Eligibility extends to candidates who withdrew their allotted seats in rounds 1 and 2, as well as those who did not register for either round. Selected candidates during the spot round counseling are expected to pay a seat allotment/acceptance fee of Rs. 4,000 in cash.
Applicants are required to bring their original documents on the counseling day. It's important to note that the number of vacancies may vary based on the count of withdrawn candidates, the directorate stated.
