Dimapur, March 7 (MExN): As part of the Spring Festival 2014 being organised by the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), a show on National Folk Dances and Music was today held with much pomp to a packed gathering here at the NEZCC ground.
The event was witnessed by members of the Royal Norwegian Embassy and State Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament, Khekiho Zhimomi. Further, the event saw all seven zonal cultural centres of India being represented.
Stating that ‘Spring Festival’ is so called “to show that the youth of the region is like the spring,” Lipokmar Tzudir, Director, NEZCC, delivering the welcome speech further urged the gathering saying, “Let this be a celebration of who we are and who we wish to be.”
