Meanwhile, trade analyst Taran Adarsh updated on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday that the Hindi version of ‘Jawan’ also became the fastest to enter the Rs 400cr net box office collection club.
According to the analyst, ‘Jawan’ achieved this feat on Day 11, breaking the records set by ‘Pathaan’ (Day 12) and ‘Gadar 2’ (Day 12). The Hindi versions of ‘Baahubali 2’ and ‘KGF2’ achieved this milestone on Day 15 and Day 23, respectively.
In another tweet, Adarsh stated, “Rs 500 cr is very much within reach...” in two weeks of ‘Jawan’s release, creating another milestone.
The collection figures do not include earnings from the Tamil and Telugu versions, which were estimated to be Rs 46.55 crore (net).
Meanwhile, as per the all languages collection figures provided by Sacnilk, ‘Jawan’ has earned a gross collection of Rs 530.1 Crore (Net Rs 440.78 Crore) as of September 16.
In addition, with overseas collections of Rs 270 crore, Sacnilk estimated the total worldwide collection to stand at Rs 800.1 crore till Saturday.
SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment, the producer of the movie, more or less confirmed the estimate by posting on X that the movie had globally minted Rs 797.50 crore in 10 days, with the caption, “Nothing much, just ‘Jawan’ on a record-breaking spree!”
Directed by Atlee, ‘Jawan’ is Shah Rukh Khan’s second release of the year after ‘Pathaan.’ The cast includes Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt also made extended cameos in the film.”
