Aronto Zhimomi, Personal Secretary to Minister of PWD, Road and Bridges
Satakha, January 17 (MExN): The 37th biennial general conference of Satakha Range Students’ Union (SRSU) was held under the theme ‘sustainable future through academic integrity’ at Tukunasa village from January 13 to 16.
Media Cell, SRSU in a press release stated that the extravaganza night on January 16 was graced by Aronto Zhimomi, Personal Secretary to the Minister of PWD, Road and Bridges, Government of Nagaland as the guest of honour. Zhimomi underscored the importance of self-dependence, emphasising the need for students to believe in themselves and strive for a successful life that God has gifted them.
He stated that God created every human being for a purpose, and therefore, everyone should utilize the value of their lives and bring back the dignity of labor. Zhimomi praised the Satakha Range Students Union's efforts for gathering approximately 1,500 students at the conference, citing it as a testament to the student community's progress and participation.
Zhimomi encouraged the students to continue contributing to their community and take a step forward with the rest of the Naga communities. He urged the student community to uphold the values of dignity of labor, hard work, honesty, and integrity to become successful and lead exemplary lives. Furthermore, Zhimomi emphasised that technology has become a vital part of daily life, and therefore, he urged the student community to use technology judiciously for the benefit of the community, academic studies, and careers, without letting it hinder their student life.
